Teachers: Bridges Toward our Dreams (Teachers' Month Celebration 2018)

“Gurong Pilipino: Turo Mo, Kinabukasan Ko “

         Every year, we celebrate the National Teachers' Month Celebration mandated by the Proclamation No. 242 that started last August 24, 2011. The said celebration starts on September 5 and ends on October 5. This year's theme is "Gurong Pilipino: Turo Mo, Kinabukasan Ko."

       This celebration gives honor and respect to the teachers who work endlessly to give the quality education their students deserve. Here, we get the chance to express our gratefulness and happiness for having them as our guide in our molding us as a person and individual in this world.

         There are more than a hundred countries, every one has a different way of identifying the efforts of our teachers to provide our needs in our community that's becoming more complicated, multicultural and technologically advanced.

        As the youth, we are expected to be the hope of the fatherland. But as we continue to dream and hope to achieve our goals, our future that awaits us is in the hands of our teachers. Teachers that always endure the hardships and difficulties they are going through. The teachers who sacrificed so much day-by-day to give every single one of us a better future. Some of the problems our teachers are facing right now are the large number of population of students that is why, classrooms are limited and jam-packed. Also, our school created a shifting scheme to resolve this. Another is that sometimes they use their own money to be used in the different schoolwork papers like test papers, handouts, and other learning materials that can really affect them.

          In conclusion, it is only right that we should give the respect and gratitude our dear teachers deserve because they are serving as our bridge towards our dreams and aspirations in life.
